I have a few questions: How long is needed to see a wide variety of things; i.e. A few Brazilian cities, Argentina, Boliva, Uruguay, Chile, Paraguay, Colombia & Venzuela? Was thinking 2.5months. Is Colombia safe? What about Bogata? Is it worth visiting Guyana, Suriname, French Guiana, Ecuador ? Whats the best things in each of these & are they safe? Would it be too hard/costly to head towards Cental America? How much would it cost/how long would it take to visit the following; Easter Island, Galapagos Islands or Falkland Islands? And would any be worth while visiting? Would US$50 a day be enough to get by on for 2 or 3 months without to much of a struggle? Any help would be greatly appreciated, as I say just starting planning just now to see who wants to go with me. And almost forgot; when would be the best time of year to go?

The French National Anthem France (pronounced /fræns/ or /frɑns/, French: [fʁɑ̃s]), officially the French Republic (French: République française, pronounced [ʁepyˈblik fʁɑ̃ˈsɛz]), is a country whose metropolitan territory is located in Western Europe and that also comprises various overseas islands and territories located in other continents.[11] Metropolitan France extends from the Mediterranean Sea to the English Channel and the North Sea, and from the Rhine to the Atlantic Ocean. French people often refer to Metropolitan France as L’Hexagone (The “Hexagon”) because of the geometric shape of its territory. France is a unitary semi-presidential republic. Its main ideals are expressed in the Declaration of the Rights of Man and of the Citizen. France is bordered by Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Monaco, Andorra, and Spain. Due to its overseas departments, France also shares land borders with Brazil and Suriname (bordering French Guiana) , and the Netherlands Antilles (bordering Saint-Martin). France is also linked to the United Kingdom by the Channel Tunnel, which passes underneath the English Channel. France was one of the world’s foremost powers from the latter half of the 17th century until the early 19th century. In the 18th and 19th centuries, France built one of the largest colonial empires of the time, stretching across West Africa and Southeast Asia, prominently influencing the cultures and politics of the regions. France is a developed country, with the sixth (nominal GDP) or eighth (PPP) largest economy in the world. It is the most visited country in the world, receiving 82 million foreign tourists annually

Astrium plays a triple role on the Skynet 5 programme responsible for the service provision through its company Paradigm, prime contractor on the launcher Ariane 5 and also as prime contractor for the satellites and associated ground segment. A new era in secure military communications for the UK Ministry of Defence began when the Skynet 5A satellite entered service in April 2007 following successful launch from Kourou, French Guiana on 11 March 2007. Skynet 5B was launched on 14 November 2007 and entered service in January one month earlier than scheduled. Skynet 5 is the groundbreaking next generation military satellite communications programme for the UK Ministry of Defence. Secure communications services are being delivered by the owner and operator, Paradigm, part of Astrium Services, with the system, including the satellites, designed and built by Astrium Satellites. Astrium Space Transportation is prime contractor on Ariane 5. More information: http://www.astrium.eads.net http://www.astrium.eads.net/multimedia_center_orig/movies/skynet-5
